Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern access to Renjam.com and purchases from Renjam Woodartistry, LLC (collectively, “Renjam,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the website, submitting a custom inquiry, approving a design, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and the policies incorporated by reference.

Eligibility & Acceptable Use

You must be at least 18 years old or have the involvement of a parent or legal guardian, to make a purchase. You may use the website only for lawful purposes. You may not interfere with site security or operation, introduce malicious code, scrape or copy content without authorization, impersonate another person, submit false information, or use the website to violate another person’s rights.

Product Information & Handmade Character

We work to describe and photograph products accurately. Screens, lighting, wood movement, and natural material variation can affect appearance. Dimensions and weights may be approximate unless expressly stated as exact. Each handcrafted piece may differ from a sample, rendering, listing image, or previous piece. These differences are part of the work’s individuality unless a written specification states otherwise.

Orders, Pricing & Payment

Submitting an order does not guarantee acceptance. We may decline or cancel an order for suspected fraud, pricing or listing errors, material unavailability, shipping limitations, unsafe specifications, or other legitimate business reasons. If we cancel after payment, we will refund the amount collected for the canceled portion.

Prices are shown in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise. Taxes, delivery, installation, customization, crating, insurance, and similar charges may be added at checkout or in a written proposal. Full payment or an agreed deposit is required before work begins. Remaining balances must be paid according to the proposal or invoice and, unless otherwise agreed in writing, before shipment, delivery, or installation.

Custom Orders & Customer Approval

Custom work may require written specifications, measurements, drawings, finish samples, digital renderings, or other approvals. The customer is responsible for reviewing names, spelling, dates, dimensions, site access, colors, hardware, and all other approved details. Renjam may rely on the customer’s written approval. Changes requested after approval may affect price and completion time and may require a signed change order and additional payment.

Customer-supplied measurements, artwork, logos, text, photographs, or specifications remain the customer’s responsibility. The customer represents that they have the right to provide and authorize use of those materials. Renjam is not responsible for problems caused by inaccurate measurements, concealed site conditions, or unauthorized customer-supplied content.

Lead Times, Delivery & Risk

Lead times are estimates unless Renjam expressly guarantees a date in writing. Material availability, curing time, weather, carrier conditions, design changes, and events outside reasonable control may affect timing. We will communicate material delays and provide the choices required by applicable law.

The customer must provide safe, reasonable access for delivery or installation and disclose stairs, elevators, narrow doors, restricted parking, building rules, and similar conditions in advance. Additional trips, storage, special handling, or failed delivery caused by incomplete or inaccurate information may result in additional charges. Risk of loss passes as provided by the applicable shipping, delivery, or installation agreement and governing law.

Care, Use & Safety

Customers must follow care and use instructions. Wood products should be protected from standing water, extreme heat, rapid humidity changes, harsh chemicals, and improper outdoor exposure. Furniture must be used for its intended purpose on a stable surface. Renjam is not responsible for damage caused by misuse, neglect, improper installation by others, unauthorized alteration, incompatible cleaning products, or failure to follow care instructions.

Returns, Satisfaction & Other Policies

The Refund and Return Policy, Privacy Policy, Craftsman Satisfaction Guarantee, written proposals, invoices, care instructions, and approved change orders form part of these Terms. If a project-specific written agreement conflicts with these website Terms, the project-specific agreement controls that project.

Intellectual Property

The website and its original text, photographs, videos, graphics, designs, project names, logos, product concepts, and other content are owned by or licensed to Renjam and are protected by applicable law. No license is granted except the limited right to view and use the website for personal shopping or legitimate business inquiries. Renjam may photograph completed work for its portfolio and marketing unless a written project agreement states otherwise; customer names and private information will not be intentionally disclosed without permission.

Third-Party Services & Links

The website may rely on third parties for hosting, payment processing, communications, shipping, analytics, or links to external sites. Their services and privacy practices are governed by their own terms. Renjam is not responsible for third-party sites or services beyond responsibilities imposed by law.

Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

Except for express written commitments and rights that cannot legally be excluded, the website and its content are provided on an “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Renjam disclaims implied warranties and will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages, including loss of use or profits. To the fullest permitted by law, Renjam’s total liability arising from a product or order will not exceed the amount paid for the product or service, giving rise to the claim. These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law.

Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend and hold Renjam harmless from third-party claims arising from your unlawful use of the website, your breach of these Terms, your customer-supplied content, or your misuse or unauthorized modification of a product.

Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by Florida law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a claim, the parties agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve the matter directly by written notice and reasonable discussion. Any legal proceeding not resolved informally will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in Seminole County, Florida, unless applicable consumer law requires otherwise. Either party may pursue eligible relief in small claims court.

Changes, Severability & Entire Agreement

We may update these Terms by posting a revised effective date. Changes apply prospectively unless law permits otherwise. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. These Terms and the incorporated policies constitute the agreement concerning website use and online purchases, subject to any project-specific agreement controlling.
